Thanks for reaching out to Global Micro Animal Registry regarding your pet’s registration.
As of 4th July 2025, the HomeSafe ID website has gone offline completely. This means we’re no longer able to access the database to confirm previous registrations. As a result, we are unable to continue offering re-registrations based on prior HomeSafe ID records. What this means for pet owners: If your pet was previously registered with HomeSafe ID, we recommend registering them on an active and secure national database to ensure their details are accessible in the event they go missing. You can register your pet directly with us online for a one-time $10 lifetime fee. This keeps your pet’s microchip details up to date and ensures they’re accessible to vets, councils, and shelters across Australia. Next Steps: If you already have an account with us, please log in here. If you’re new to Global Micro, you can create an account and register your pet here. If your pet is already registered with another active microchip registry (other than HomeSafe ID), no further action is required. To check or if you are unsure, please visit PetAddress and enter your pet's microchip number. We’re here to assist if you have questions or need help with the process, just reply to this email and we’ll do our best to support you. Kind Regards,
The Global Micro Team
